St. Luke’s Health System Retains B. E. Smith to Recruit New CNO
Date:10/25/2013

LENEXA, Kan. (PRWEB) October 25, 2013

B. E. Smith, the only full-service leadership solutions firm dedicated exclusively to healthcare providers, has been retained to lead a national chief nursing officer search for St. Luke’s Health System in Boise, Idaho. One of the top executive search firms in the healthcare industry, B. E. Smith has recently placed more than 900 healthcare executives into organizations.

St. Luke’s Health System is Idaho’s largest and only locally-controlled, not-for-profit health system. It consists of seven medical centers, the St. Luke’s Mountain States Tumor Institute (MSTI) and St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital. The system has established a relationship-based care professional practice model and recently received its third Magnet re-designation. In 2013, Healthgrades ranked St. Luke’s in the top 5% of American Hospitals for Clinical Excellence. Each St. Luke’s Health System hospital is nationally recognized for excellence in patient care. St. Luke’s Boise Medical Center is the system’s flagship hospital and the largest healthcare provider in the state. It is known for its centers of excellence in cancer, heart, and women’s and children’s care. Boise Medical Center is home to St. Luke’s Heart, St. Luke’s Mountain States Tumor Institute’s largest clinic, St. Luke’s Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery and St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital, the only children’s hospital in Idaho.

St. Luke’s Health System is seeking a chief nursing officer who will leverage business acumen and previous nursing leadership experience to strategically lead overall nursing and clinical practice across the Treasure Valley region, including St. Luke’s Boise and Meridian Medical Centers, clinics, system-wide home care and hospice services, ambulatory centers and five MSTI locations.
