Date:6/11/2009

A brand-new, state-of-the-art FieldTurf surface will be installed for the NFL's St. Louis Rams at the Edward Jones Dome.

St. Louis, MO (Vocus) June 11, 2009 -- A brand-new, state-of-the-art FieldTurf surface will be installed for the NFL's St. Louis Rams at the Edward Jones Dome. The Rams have been playing their home games exclusively on FieldTurf since the 2005 campaign. The latest version from the worldwide leader in artificial turf will be in place when the Rams open their 2009 schedule with a preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons on August 21.

The Rams are one of 22 NFL franchises who currently use FieldTurf at their stadium and/or practice facility. Additionally, the Rams have a FieldTurf practice field at Rams Park.

"We are very pleased to continue our relationship with FieldTurf," said Rams General Manager Billy Devaney. "The FieldTurf surface has been good for our players and we look forward to playing on it again this season at the Edward Jones Dome."

"We are honored to continue our longstanding relationship with the Edward Jones Dome, the city of St. Louis and, of course, with the Rams," said FieldTurf CEO Joe Fields. "Everyone at FieldTurf is proud of our extensive involvement with the National Football League, which is considered by many to be the premier professional league in all of sports. Our outstanding track record of safety, playability and service has guided our relationship with the Rams, and with the other NFL franchises. We pledge to continue to provide the most outstanding turf product available in the world today, one that will provide the finest possible playing conditions for the Rams, along with the finest possible viewing experience for Rams fans."
