St. Louis Metro East Affordable Assisted Living Community to Host Senior Health and Fitness Day
Date:5/26/2013

Bradley, Illinois (PRWEB) May 26, 2013

Cambridge House of O'Fallon, a BMA affordable assisted living community, is celebrating National Senior Health and Fitness Day with an afternoon of health and fitness presentations from 2 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29.

The community, which is located at 844 Cambridge Blvd. in O'Fallon, Illinois, serves older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid, who need some help to maintain their independence.

A Walgreens representative will be discussing the importance of getting flu shots and vaccines, and BMA Management Executive Chef Tim Renner will be showing you how to cook healthier meals, says Tammy Loman, Director of Marketing for Cambridge House of O'Fallon.

Guests will also learn about exercise activities, including Tai Chi and senior chair exercises.

For more information about the Senior Health and Fitness program or Cambridge House of O'Fallon, call 618-924-9900.

Cambridge House of O'Fallon is one of three Cambridge House affordable assisted living communities located in the St. Louis Metro East area. The other Cambridge House communities are located in Maryville and Swansea.

All three communities are managed by BMA Management, Ltd., the largest provider of assisted living in Illinois, and are certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program.

"We provide older adults of all incomes with a wonderful alternative to a nursing home or to struggling alone at home," says Loman. "Residents benefit from living in a residential apartment-home environment and receiving personal assistance and help with medications."
