Date:7/12/2014

Salt Lake City, Utah (PRWEB) July 12, 2014

Utah Valley Entrepreneurial Forum Top 25 Under Five spotlighted two types of startups, with awards being bestowed to companies in revenue, and pre-revenue startups.

UVEF’s new emphasis spotlighted Utah’s outstanding entrepreneur community with recognition for new ideas as well as companies who are proving a sustainable model with incoming revenue.

25 Under 5 highlights outstanding Utah entrepreneurs and emerging companies from across the state that are under 5 years old. Award recipients were recognized at their Award Ceremony Luncheon on July 10th, 2014.

UVEF’s Top 25 Under Five Awards have recognized the development of over 200 individuals and companies, including Utah success stories like Boostability and Omniture, among countless others.

2014 Applicants were judged on several factors including revenue and job creation. This year they included a new category to recognize pre-revenue startups, as well.

SquareHook, a local startup of Salt Lake City, Utah was recognized as one of their recipients, and couldn’t be more excited about it. Joshua Maag, CEO of SquareHook said,“We are so thrilled and flattered to be honored amongst 24 other fantastic companies based here in Utah! SquareHook has, and continues to work on creating the best experience for our website building users. We couldn't be more stoked to be recognized for our efforts in improving website building and e-Commerce functionality for local businesses here, and others outside of Utah.”

SquareHook is best known for their responsive design drag and drop functionality and ease of use on their editor, including custom form creation and blog integration. Earlier this year, they launched their completely custom e-Commerce platform, where users can create their own mobile friendly online store.
