Sprout Healthy Vending Lands More Machines in the Lone Star State
Date:6/19/2012

(PRWEB) June 19, 2012

“Being raised on a farm in Arkansas, large country-style meals were the norm to support long work hours involving physical labor. Unfortunately, these eating habits resulted in excessive weight gain over the years,” Morris says. “Recognizing the related potential health hazards prompted a lifestyle change. A major component of this lifestyle change was my choice in food.”

Having participated in college athletics, Morris, and his wife, who is a professional health care provider, fully understand the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle not only for themselves, but for their kids as well.

“Like many Americans today, my 14-year corporate career was recently interrupted due to a company-wide reorganization. While researching various business opportunities, my wife became aware of Sprout Healthy Vending, which incorporated the healthy lifestyle embraced by our family,” Morris shares.

It quickly became clear to Morris that becoming a Sprout Healthy Vending operator was the right choice for him and his family. “Sprout offers a high growth potential business model to qualified entrepreneurs interested in owning their own business with a product offering that is exploding onto the vending scene.”

With the United States government implementing new healthier food laws in elementary, middle, and high schools today, Morris feels like he is doing his part to help his town make the healthy switch as well. “I am very excited to be able to contribute to the solution for national obesity, specifically with kids in the academic environment. Our 13-year-old twins have become our official ‘taste testers’ for all new products being considered for our school program and they couldn’t be happier about it!” Morris says.

Already seeing his community take a vast interest in the healthier products, Morris is confident his machines will do well no matter where he places them.

“I believe a large segment of the Dallas/Ft. Worth market will embrace the healthy lifestyle and will welcome the convenience of vended healthy snacks and beverages,” Morris says.

Morris continues, “It has been exciting to see how customer preferences transition in locations where a Sprout machine has been installed. Old stereotypes associated with poor tasting healthy food options are being replaced with positive experiences where consumers are surprised to learn that healthy food choices can also be very satisfying. I am proud to now be involved in a business where I can assist others in making healthy adjustments to their lifestyle.”

Co-Founder Chris Wyland echoes the sentiment, “Morris’ excitement is part of the reason why we do what we do here at Sprout Healthy Vending. We have managed to transform society’s perceptions of healthy food. People no longer associate healthy, nutritious food with poor taste and consequently more and more people are jumping on board with the Sprout concept.”
