Sport Court Provides All Sports Surfaces for New International Olympic Committee Training Center in Haiti

Sport Court® provided all surfaces for the new International Olympic Committee (“IOC”) Sports for Hope training facility in the Republic of Haiti that was unveiled today in Croix des Bouquets.

The new facility that broke ground in 2012, will serve as a complete multi-sport training facility for the Haiti National Olympic Committee and feature an open-air facility for basketball; handball; soccer; tennis; track & field; volleyball and an indoor gymnasium. Connor Sport Court International Vice President of International Sales Andrew Gettig and International Business Manager John Massman will be in Haiti tomorrow to represent CSCI at the event.

The Sport Court surfaces range from PowerGame® in the form of three volleyball courts, three basketball courts and three tennis courts in the 1,800 m2 outdoor facility, and Response® surfaces totaling 2,100 m2 in the indoor facility for basketball, handball and volleyball and Response as the sub-floors for indoor boxing and combat (judo, taekwondo and wrestling) indoor training areas.
