SpineUniverse Announces the Launch of the Spine Image Library
Date:8/28/2013

Montclair, NJ (PRWEB) August 28, 2013

SpineUniverse, a member of the Vertical Health, LLC family of websites, is excited to announce the launch of the Spine Image Library, an online collection of diagnostic, pre-treatment, intra-operative, and post-operative images that provides patients with a variety of spinal conditions, including scoliosis and other deformities, a better understanding of their condition by allowing them to compare their diagnostic images to those featured on the site.

This world-class, comprehensive image library made up of of clinical photographs, x-rays, CT scans, three-dimensional (3D) reconstructions, and MRIs, is arranged by spinal condition, and each image features a brief description providing the patient’s age and sex, diagnosis, and cause of the spinal problem. To add educational value, many of the images are accompanied by patient cases that show the progression of care from diagnosis through to the final post-operative imaging study.

“Patients diagnosed with spinal conditions are often left with many questions,” says Bill Paquin, Chief Executive Officer at Vertical Health, LLC. “We want to provide these patients with a real life, visual representation of their condition that allows them to learn through comparison to better weigh their treatment options; and that’s why the Spine Image Library was created,” continued Paquin.

The addition of the Spine Image Library further positions Vertical Health, LLC as a pioneer in the digital healthcare space by providing those affected by often misunderstood spinal conditions with access to the visuals they need to make effective comparisons that help to better inform treatment decisions.
