Date:10/28/2013

Bothell, WA (PRWEB) October 28, 2013

The Spine Institute Northwest is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Dawei Lu to their team of award-winning surgeons. Dr. Lu focuses on surgery of the cervical and lumbar spine, augmenting the practice’s expert group of physicians.

A graduate of Louisiana State University of Medicine, Dr. Lu completed fellowship training at both Louisiana State University and the University of Colorado Department of Orthopaedics. He held a fellowship at the Orthopaedic Spine/Neurosurgery fellowship at Rocky Mountain Spine Clinic before joining the Spine Institute Northwest this month.

"I am both excited and honored to join such a prestigious practice as the Spine Institute Northwest," says Dr. Lu. "I look forward to caring for patients and furthering the Spine Institute Northwest tradition of providing high-quality spine care."

Dr. Lu's area of expertise is in the treatment of cervical, thoracic, and lumbar conditions. In keeping with the Spine Institute Northwest's emphasis on cutting-edge minimally invasive techniques, Dr. Lu will be working specifically on the treatment of degenerative, traumatic, and congenital conditions via these new technologies.

"Dr. Lu will be an excellent asset to the Spine Institute Northwest," explains Spine Institute founder Dr. Solomon Kamson MD, PhD. "He has a strong background in addressing neurologic and musculoskeletal issues, which we hope he can continue to build on as part of our team."

Dr. Lu joins an award-winning staff that includes Dr. Solomon Kamson MD, PhD; Dr. David Hou, MD; Dr. Michael N. Brown, DC, MD; Dr. Alan Khanh Doan, DPM; Dr. Michael Liu, MD, FACS; and Dr. Tony Pham, DO. Learn more about the surgeons and about their practice at http://www.spineinstitutenorthwest.com.
