Speaking of Women's Health was founded in 1995 as a one-day women's health event. The event has grown to become a national foundation with more than 50 conferences and events in cities nationwide, including two national multicultural health initiatives, Universal Sisters for women of color and Hablando de la Salud de la Mujer for Hispanic women, and Growing Together, Connecting for Life for mothers and daughters.
