Spanish Broadcasting System and 93.3 La Raza to Hold Radiothon for Children's Hospital & Research Center Oakland

MIAMI, July 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS) and 93.3 La Raza (KRZZ) in San Francisco announced today that they will be holding a radiothon to raise funds in support of the Children's Hospital & Research Center Oakland. The radiothon will take place on Friday, July 31 and run through Sunday, August 2 with live broadcasts from the Children's Hospital & Research Center Oakland, the local Children's Miracle Network hospital.

One hundred percent of the funds raised through this event will support healthcare services at Children's Hospital & Research Center Oakland. La Raza's popular and well-known DJ's and talent, including Los Hijos de la Bahia and Charito Martinez, will be on hand to entertain and encourage listeners to make a donation to the hospital.

"This is Children's Hospital's very first Spanish-language radiothon, and everyone from the staff to our patients are excited to have the professional and fun team from La Raza at our hospital," said Tina Evans, Director, Children's Miracle Network. "We appreciate the leadership from SBS and La Raza in this tremendous effort and want to thank everyone in advance who lent their support and made a donation to Children's Hospital."
