Date:2/15/2013

New York, NY (PRWEB) February 15, 2013

SpaFinder® Wellness, Inc., today announced that the company is expanding its presence in Canada and that Leslie Bruce has been named managing director of operations of the Canadian division. In her new position, Bruce will play an integral role in the growth of SpaFinder.ca and will be directly responsible for implementing new initiatives, as well as leading the growth of the SpaFinder Wellness Canada Network of spas, fitness, and wellness businesses.

SpaFinder Wellness (http://www.SpaFinder.ca) has been in business in Canada for six years and recently opened new offices in Toronto to serve both its growing network of wellness partners and millions of consumers who use its services. The company’s gift cards, which can be used at spa, yoga, Pilates and fitness/wellness businesses around the globe, are sold at over 6,000 retail locations throughout Canada. Corporate clients also use SpaFinder Wellness Gift Cards for rewards and incentives, including employee wellness programs.

The company also plans to add Canadian-specific content to SpaFinder.ca and launch a new French Canadian website.

“A company’s success is based on its ability to attract exceptional talent. Throughout her career Leslie has demonstrated that she not only has the ability to plan initiatives, but she also has the skills and passion to successfully execute those plans,” said SpaFinder Wellness Chairman & CEO Pete Ellis. “Her extensive travel and online marketing experience will be an important factor in the company’s growth, as we expand our global network of spa, fitness, and wellness providers and introduce innovative technology and products that make it easier for people in Canada to lead healthy, happy lives.”

Before joining SpaFinder Wellness, Bruce was a member of the executive management team of TUI Education
