Enables ASCs to Accelerate EHR Adoption by Guaranteeing Compliance with Federal Stimulus Reimbursement Requirements and Financing

Birmingham, AL (PRWEB) September 10, 2009 -- SourceMedical, the leading source of outpatient information solutions, today announced the Vision Electronic Health Record (EHR) Compliance Guarantee Program, which assures that Vision EHR will be compliant with the forthcoming government issued ASC certification requirements for federal stimulus reimbursement or customers will receive their money back. SourceMedical is also introducing new financing for Vision EHR customers that greatly reduces upfront software and implementation costs.
"SourceMedical is committed to investing the time and resources needed to ensure our clients have access to the best in healthcare technology today, and into the future," said Larry McTavish, SourceMedical's Chairman and CEO. "Today's announcement demonstrates this commitment as we eliminate a concern that has prohibited more widespread EHR adoption. Our certification guarantee and new financing options ensure customers they can feel confident about moving forward today with Vision EHR."

To further ease the financial burden for ASCs interested in deploying an EHR system, SourceMedical is introducing new financing options to speed adoption. SourceMedical is making $10 Million in funding available to customers who order Vision EHR by December 31, 2010.

"We believe that EHR utilization by our clients will support the overall national initiatives to improve patient outcomes, reduce costs and errors, and provide access to information necessary for improving the overall efficiency of the nation's healthcare delivery," said Scott Palmer, president and COO of SourceMedical's Surgery Division. "We have seen two barriers that have presented challenges for our ASC customers in moving forward wit
