'Something Wicked!' This Way Comes: Elvira Hosts Halloween Fashion Show and Fundraiser Benefiting AIDS Healthcare Foundation
Date:10/9/2007

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 9 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, will host 'Something Wicked 2007,' a Halloween costume contest, auction and dance party fundraiser benefiting AIDS Healthcare Foundation. This wicked-cool event will take place at the 'Out of the Closet' thrift store in Hollywood at 6210 West Sunset Blvd. on Thursday, October 11th beginning at 7:30 p.m.

'Something Wicked 2007,' will feature a fashion show and contest highlighting the unique array of costumes that can be designed using 'Out of the Closet' merchandise. Contestants will have shopped at 'Out of the Closet' thrift stores around town and will compete to see who created the most wicked Halloween costume. The costume creations will then be modeled at the event for prizes. 'Something Wicked 2007' will also feature a live auction and a chance to bid on the evening's most-prized item: a trip to Las Vegas to see Elton John perform. Other items up for bid include tickets to Disneyland, Six Flags Magic Mountain and Dodger baseball games, as well as several high-end Halloween costumes. DJ Enrie from MOVIN' 93 will provide the music and food. Beverages will also be served.

Tickets can be purchased at http://www.outofthecloset.org. The cost is $20 in advance or $30 at the door. And, remember, it's all for a wicked good cause: Funds raised at the event will benefit AIDS Healthcare Foundation and go directly toward providing care and services for people living with HIV/AIDS.
