Somers Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine Group, PLLC Announces the Opening of their New Physical Therapy Location at its Hopewell Junction Office

Somers Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine Group announces the opening of physical therapy (PT) services at its Hopewell Junction office. PT is also available at Somers Orthopaedic’s offices in Mt. Kisco and Newburgh.

“Our practice base is expanding and we are pleased to offer PT services to meet the needs of patients in our Hopewell Junction office,” says Melvin Cave, director of physical therapy for Somers Orthopaedics. "Patients will benefit from PT conveniently located right in our offices.” The physical therapist at Somers Orthopaedics work with the physicians to create a therapy program specifically designed for the patient’s needs.

The new PT facility in Hopewell Junction as well as Somers Orthopaedic’s two other PT sites, is fully equipped with modern state-of-the-art equipment. Physical Therapy is usually recommended after surgery or after an injury to help restore mobility, relieve pain and assist the patient in resuming their normal activities. The physical therapists at Somers Orthopaedics are specifically trained to diagnose, manage and treat disorders and injuries of the musculoskeletal system. Our highly specialized physical therapists work closely with the Somers Orthopaedic team of physicians, ensuring that our patients get the most out of their treatment program. Each program is designed to fit the needs of the individual patient.

PT services will be available in the Hopewell Junction office on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9am-5pm and on Tuesday and Thursday from 9am-3pm. PT services are available in the Mt. Kisco office on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7:40am-7pm and on Tuesday and Thursday from 10:30am-3:30pm. PT services are available in the Newburgh office on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7am-7pm and on Thursday from 1pm-7pm. Somers Orthopaedics accepts most insurances for PT.
