TROY, Mich., May 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Somanetics Corporation (Nasdaq: SMTS) is scheduled to participate in the Citigroup 2008 Healthcare Conference, which is being held May 21 - 22, 2008 at the New York Hilton.

Bruce J. Barrett, Somanetics' president and chief executive officer, will make a 25-minute presentation that will be webcast live on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. ET. The webcast may be accessed by visiting the Investor Relations section of Somanetics' website at http://www.somanetics.com. The webcast also can be accessed at http://www.veracast.com/webcasts/citigroup/healthcare08/61104426.cfm. The presentation will be archived on Somanetics' website for 30 days following the conference.
