Soma Technology, a worldwide leader in the sale of new and refurbished medical equipment, has added Chris Mazzaia to its team of Regional Sales Directors. Mazzaia’s territory includes Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire and New Jersey.

Mazzaia comes to Soma Technology with many years and a wide range of experience in the Healthcare Industry, both in service provider and sales positions. After Mazzaia earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physical Therapy, he served in the United States (U.S.) Navy as a Hospital Corpsman/Operating Room (OR) Tech/Central Processing Department manager for eight years. Additionally, he earned a BS in Nursing and has 15 years of Clinical OR experience as a Physical Therapist /Scrub Nurse / Surgical First Assistant. He successfully sold Zimmer’s full line of equipment; Maquet’s lights, booms, tables and OR designs; and Stryker’s Trauma products. The sum of Mazzaia’s experiences makes him a valuable asset to Soma Technology’s dynamic team of sales professionals. He will provide his territory with a keen understanding of the needs and challenges facing today’s healthcare industry.

With Soma Technology’s ability to equip entire OR suites with equipment from the industry’s top makers—combined with Mazzaia’s experience in OR design and his overall expertise in the field—healthcare providers in the Northeastern United States have a powerful resource available to them.
