The announcement was made on the occasion of the 2008 Annual Meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), being held May 30-June 3 at McCormick Place in Chicago. Allegra, Chairman of the STO Board and Director of Clinical and Translational Research and Chief, Division of Hematology and Oncology at the University of Florida.
