Snoring Isn't Sexy, LLC Launches Survey to Determine Extent of Drowsy Drivers on Land, Sea and In The Air

Because of this lack of testing and follow-up treatment, the problem continues to get worse as excessively sleepy people drive our trucks, fly our planes, engineer our trains and captain our ships resulting in an ever increasing accident and death rate. Snoring Isn't Sexy has decided to take an active role in determining the extent of the problem with an anonymous screening survey."

This survey is a precursor to an effort to establish a nation-wide confidential, anonymous in-person screening and treatment program for sleep apnea with names hidden from employers, insurance companies and the government for people in those industries that affect the public.

Barsh, DMD, a dentist who has been involved with sleep medicine since 1992 and who now devotes full time to educating the public about dentistry's role and responsibility in the recognition and management of snoring and sleep apnea. Dr. Barsh and the dentists associated with Snoring Isn't Sexy, LLC feel strongly that management of sleep-breathing disorders is a shared responsibility of both the medical and dental professions.
