Smile Brands Continues to Expand its Network of Affiliated Practices
Date:6/25/2019

Smile Brands Inc., one of the nation’s leading dental support organizations (DSO) providing business support services to more than 400 affiliated offices across 17 states, is pleased to announce its latest partnership with Mission Viejo Dental Associates in Mission Viejo, California.

Smile Brands will provide full-service administrative support to the practice, which includes purchasing, payroll, accounting, IT, billing, facilities management and marketing. Existing staff will remain in place and the business will continue to operate under the Mission Viejo Dental Associates brand.

Dr. Robert Stalcup founded Mission Viejo Dental Associates 21 years ago with the goal of creating beautiful smiles for patients of all ages. Dr. Tran partnered with Dr. Stalcup to focus on growing access for patients and providing high quality dentistry to Mission Viejo and surrounding communities. Today, the team provides general, preventative and restorative dental care, plus, oral surgery, orthodontics and emergency services from their Mission Viejo practice.

Dr. Stalcup, Dr. Tran and the rest of team are looking forward to a strong partnership with Smile Brands. “We see big upside from affiliating with Smile Brands,” explains Dr. Tran. “We gain access to both clinical and business expertise that will help us explore ways to better serve our patients, plus we’ll save both time and money by leveraging their purchasing power and administrative support resources.”

Smile Brands co-founder and CEO, Steve Bilt sees tremendous upside from partnering with Mission Viejo Dental Associates. “Dr. Stalcup and Dr. Tran have built an impressive, multi-specialty practice with great patient ratings,” said Bilt. “We look forward to partnering with them and delivering even more smiles in Mission Viejo.”
