Smart Balance to Webcast Presentation at Goldman Sachs Consumer Products Symposium

(Nasdaq: SMBL) announced today Stephen Hughes, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Smart Balance Inc., will make a presentation at the annual Goldman Sachs Consumer Products Symposium in New York, NY, at 10:50 a.m. EDT on Monday, May 12, 2008.

Smart Balance's presentation and question-and-answer session will be approximately 35 minutes in length. Only conference attendees will be able to ask questions, but listeners will be able to hear the question-and-answer session.
