Smart Balance to Host Webcast/Conference Call on 2009 Second-Quarter Results

PARAMUS, N.J., July 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Smart Balance, Inc. (Nasdaq: SMBL) will host a live audio webcast at www.smartbalance.com on August 6, 2009, at 9:30 a.m. EDT to discuss 2009 second-quarter financial results, which will be issued at approximately 8:30 a.m. EDT the same day. The webcast will be in listen-only mode.

Investors and analysts may participate via conference call by dialing 1-800-895-0198 from the United States or 1-785-424-1053 from elsewhere. The conference ID number is 7BALANCE. To ensure access to the conference call, participants should dial in at least 10 minutes before the call starts. A rebroadcast will be available until August 20, 2009, and can be accessed by dialing 1-800-388-6509.

An archive of the webcast will be available in the Investor Center of the company's web site, www.smartbalance.com.
