Date:11/15/2013

Long Island, New York (PRWEB) November 15, 2013

After teaming up with Pro Player Health Alliance, Long Island Dental Sleep Medicine has begun a wave of change that continues to gain more and more momentum with each patient including NFL Hall of Fame nominee and Super Bowl Champion Giants RB OJ Anderson. OJ Anderson was excited to get in to the office of Dr. Seltzer and Dr. Rein as they took his impressions to have an oral appliance known as the Acrylic Sleep Herbst fabricated by Gergen's Orthodontic Lab.

David Gergen says, "Dr. Rein and Dr. Seltzer are two of the finest dentists I know; I only refer the players I work with to the best doctors in the country. After this event, I want Dr. Rein and Dr. Seltzer to be known as the doctors who treat NFL greats. They will do a great job... at the Super Bowl Symposium this year."

This year's Super Bowl Symposium will be kick-started at the upcoming sleep apnea awareness event in Long Island December 5, 2013. Pro Player Health Alliance (PPHA) will be working with the Living Heart Foundation (LHF) and Long Island Dental Sleep Medicine to screen players and host a free public educational event that same evening. Before the event, players will be screened and data will be collected for the (LHF) NFL HOPE Program study, founded by Dr. Archie Roberts. The likes of Bart Oates, OJ Anderson, Derek Kennard, Roy Green and several more players will be at the event.
