Skinny Dippers(TM), First Zero-Calorie Frozen Dessert, Earns Widespread Retail, Online Distribution
Date:1/6/2009

FARMINGDALE, N.Y., Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Dieters craving a delicious frozen treat that won't pack on the pounds can now find a refreshing option at many local chain stores -- Skinny Dippers(TM) from Integrated Beverage Group, Ltd. (IBG). The company, a manufacturer of innovative sports and nutritional products, recently announced major new relationships with leading distributors, retailers and online marketers nationwide.

Skinny Dippers -- pre-portioned ices that contain zero calories, zero net carbs and zero sugar per 1 oz serving -- are the first zero-calorie frozen dessert marketed in the U.S. The product is now available in multi-packs of six single-serve pouches for $4.99 at A&P, Associated Foods, Bi-Lo, Cost Cutters, Drug Fair, Duane Reade, Food Emporium, King Kullen, Kings Super Markets, Meijer, P&C Foods, Pathmark, Price Chopper, Ralph's, Rayley's, ShopKo, Super Fresh, Waldbaum's, Weis Markets and Woodman's and online at CVS.com and Amazon.com. The ready-to-freeze pouches are sold in the diet foods section of retail stores -- not in the frozen foods section.

The non-caloric product is sweetened with Splenda(R), does not contain high fructose corn syrup, and comes in two mouth-watering flavors -- frosty lemon and tangy tangerine. The 1 fl. oz/30 ml pouches can be stored anywhere prior to freezing for convenient use.

"While there are many sugar-free products in the frozen dessert category, they are still high in calories," said IBG CEO Dominic Maggiore. "Zero-calorie Skinny Dippers are an ideal choice for calorie-conscious people who would like to indulge in a diet-friendly, sensational tasting, affordable and convenient frozen treat. They're one of several product lines we've established using our unique ready-to-freeze flexible pouch-packaging concept."

Other IBG products include Power Ice(R), the non-filling alternative to sports drinks, and Children's Throat Cooler(R), ice
