Skin Cancer Awareness Month Reminders from TheBeautyPlace.com with Gabrielle Anwar
Date:5/1/2013

Miami, FL 33126 (PRWEB) May 01, 2013

According to the Skin Cancer Foundation, one in five Americans will develop skin cancer in the course of a lifetime. With summer approaching, the higher temperatures welcome outdoor activities and shoulder bearing tops. Taking precautions like applying sunscreen or donning a hat are some of the first steps to staying sun safe.

TheBeautyPlace.com asked Gabrielle Anwar to share some of her tips on how she stays sun safe on the set of Burn Notice. On a typical day Gabrielle applies NIA24 Sun Damage Prevention 100% Mineral Sunscreen. It provides her with the best protection and because it is an Oil-free formula she is able to apply her make up over it without it feeling cakey. In addition, she loves it because NIA24 is gentle enough to use on her two young children.

“I never leave the house without my two essentials! My Cherry balm from Glo Minerals and my favorite floppy hat! I love my floppy hat because it keeps me shaded and tops off my outfit!," said Ms. Anwar. The Cherry Balm from Glo Minerals protects her lips with full-spectrum SPF 15 while the nurturing botanicals of Hemp Seed Oil, Meadow foam and Mango Seed Butter soothe and heal. Wearing a hat in the sun protects the face from sun damage that may cause the signs of premature aging - wrinkles, age spots, and dry skin. Ms. Anwar’s shared with TheBeautyPlace.com that wearing a hat is her favorite way to look fashionable while staying sun safe.

We asked Gabrielle how she keeps her golden tan during the Miami rai
