Skechers Shape-Ups Lawsuit Filed by Wright & Schulte on Behalf of an Arkansas Woman Who Fractured Her Ankle Allegedly Due to Wearing Shape-Ups
Date:3/9/2013

Columbus, OH (PRWEB) March 09, 2013

Wright & Schulte LLC, an experienced product liability law firm, has filed a Skechers Shape-Ups lawsuit on behalf of a woman from Lake Village, Arkansas (Case No. 3:13-cv-00157-TBR) who alleges that the inherently unstable design of Shape-Ups caused the plaintiff to fall and seriously fracture her right ankle. While the plaintiff had to undergo emergency surgery to have screws and a metal plate implanted into her ankle, she also had to attend months of physical therapy to treat her injury. The Skechers injury lawsuit was filed on January 28, 2013, in the federal Skechers Toning Shoes Products Liability Litigation (MDL 2308), now underway in U.S. District Court, Western District of Kentucky. Richard W. Schulte, a partner with the firm, is serving on the Plaintiffs Steering Committee in the federal Skechers MDL Litigation.
