Sister to Sister to Host BIKE FOR THE HEART EVENT Sunday, October 11th

WASHINGTON, Oct. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Join Sister to Sister's BIKE FOR THE HEART and enjoy the ride of a lifetime down Pennsylvania Avenue. Proceeds will help save women's lives by funding heart screenings, education and health empowerment. Heart disease is the #1 cause of women's death -- Sister to Sister would like to change that.

    WHAT:         BIKE FOR THE HEART EVENT

                  -- America's Main Streeter: A family friendly, 5-mile ride
                     past the U.S. Capitol and the White House.
                  -- Arena Spinathon: The ultimate spinning experience on the
                     floor of the Verizon Center with some of the area's top-
                     rated spinning coaches and local celebrities.
                  -- Heart-of-the-Nation Time Trial: A 5-mile race past the
                     nation's most recognizable landmarks.
                  -- BIKE FOR THE HEART Festival: Featuring activities for
                     kids and a host of circus-style entertainment. World-
                     famous Ringling Bros.® clowns will conduct a Ringling
                     Bros. Clown College® crash course where Children Of All
                     Ages! will earn their clown noses as they learn how to
                     juggle, spin plates, and walk the low-wire.

    WHERE:        Verizon Center, Abe Pollin Way (F Street)
    WHEN:         Sunday, October 11th - Registration begins at 6:30 am,
                  races, activities and special appearances throughout the
                  day until 1:00 pm
