SironaHealth to Provide 24 x 7 Nurse Line and Clinical Outreach to EosHealth as part of their Mobile Health & Wellness Programs

SironaHealth Registered Nurses will provide telephone based triage and health advice to EosHealth service subscribers who have been identified as needing one-to-one clinical intervention. As EosHealth subscribers manage their health through interactive resources via their cell phones, SironaHealth RNs will be alerted to specific health triggers and proactively reach out to perform triage and provide targeted health advice.

South Portland, Maine (PRWEB) May 4, 2009 -- SironaHealth, a provider of medical call center services and technology, announces that they will provide 24 x 7 nurse line support to EosHealth's mobile health & wellness program, called Wellness4Life.

EosHealth's mobile health & wellness program provides healthcare consumers 24 x 7 access to interactive medical, educational, nutritional and lifestyle resources via their personal cell phone. Through SironaHealth's nurse advice line, Registered Nurses will be alerted to a negative indicator of patient health and will reach out proactively to perform triage and guide patients to relevant health information and resources. This support provides practical, personalized care and health management with professional medical guidance.

"We are very excited to be partnering with EosHealth to help support their forward thinking healthcare services and technology," says Jeff Forbes, President of SironaHealth. "As the world of healthcare services and communications continues to advance, partners like EosHealth can benefit from SironaHealth's solutions and provide their clients with a strong 24 x 7 health service offering."

As part of EosHealth's healthcare team, SironaHealth Registered Nurses will provide health information and advice to service subscribers who have been identified as needing one-to-one clinical intervention. By integrating with SironaHealth's technology, EosHealth's system can automatically add a qualified patient to a SironaHealth nurse call back queue - including a complete health history of the user - creating a seamless and targeted approach to delivering health advice. In addition to this call back functionality, patients can also place a call directly into the nurse line via a quick launch icon on their mobile device.

"This is the future of health care and we are delighted to be partnering with SironaHealth," says Dr. Kimon Angelides, Chief Executive Officer of EosHealth. "They are the best in the business and provide a high touch and welcoming service for our subscribers as well as the medical and educational depth that we demand for our programs." EosHealth and SironaHealth will be working together to ensure expert medical support for EosHealth members. With SironaHealth's Registered Nurses aiding EosHealth with real-time response to members, EosHealth feels confident that the members will experience stress-free expert aid and advice concerning their health questions and concerns.

SironaHealth's distributed network of tele-nurses manage telephone-based nurse line programs to a broad range of healthcare providers, health plans, and care managers. In addition to SironaHealth's clinical health call center services, the company also provides a variety of healthcare engagement services including physician referral, class and event registration and custom inbound and outbound calling programs.
