Sinsational Smile Becomes First and Only Certified Eco-Friendly Whitening System in the World
Date:11/4/2013

San Francisco, California (PRWEB) November 04, 2013

Sinsational Smile, a 20 minute in-office teeth whitening system based in Santa Cruz, California, is the first whitening product in the world to be awarded the Eco-Dentistry Association’s Seal of Approval. The EDA Accepted Seal is only awarded to dental products and services that meet specific environmental criteria, such as waste reduction in manufacturing and distribution processes.

Most professional strength whitening products on the market today come along with high levels of discomfort and sensitivity and use ingredients best kept out of the mouth. Sinsational Smile’s proprietary gel contains non-toxic carbamide peroxide along with a natural desensitizer to ensure little to no sensitivity for patients, and avoids chemical compounds of concern to many consumers, such as BPAs, titanium dioxide, sodium lauryl sulfate and other harmful chemicals. The patented silicone mouth tray used for the 20-minute treatment is the first recyclable whitening tray on the market, and because the trays are preloaded with gel, there is no need for disposable syringes that would normally make their way into already over-burdened landfills.

To further reduce its environmental impact, the Sinsational Smile company headquarters uses solar power and contributes a portion of proceeds to conservation organizations like The Surfrider Foundation and Oceana. "I founded Sinsational Smile to help dental practices offer patients a fast, easy, comfortable and affordable way to whiten their teeth. The issue of sensitivity was first and foremost on my mind throughout the creation process, but I also wanted to offer something that was non-toxic to the patient and our planet," says CEO Jim Crowley.

The country’s first eco-friendly whitening system is not only setting a new standard for dental products, but is also the fastest growing whitening system in the U.S. and is rapidly
