NYMPC will take over all fire-alarm maintenance for The Mall at The Source in Westbury, NY.

Freeport, NY (PRWEB) December 12, 2008 -- Simon Property Group has selected New York Merchants Protective Co., Inc. (NYMPC) as the exclusive provider of fire-alarm services at The Mall at The Source in Westbury, Long Island, New York.

Under the agreement, NYMPC will take over all ongoing maintenance for the fire-alarm systems at the property, including each of its retail stores and corporate offices, and will oversee new installations as needed, beginning January 1, 2009.

This is the second service agreement between Simon Property Group and NYMPC this year. In June 2008, NYMPC was selected as the exclusive provider of Closed-Circuit TV Systems and Code Blue emergency call boxes at nearby Roosevelt Field Mall.

The Mall at The Source offers 727,000 square feet of retail space, and is home to a diverse group of retailers, including Circuit City, Famous Footwear, H&M, Old Navy and dozens more. The Mall is also home to the flagship location for Fortunoff, as well as several restaurants, including The Cheesecake Factory, Cold Stone Creamery and P.F. Chang's China Bistro.
