Senior Care eLearning provider updates 44 courses and develops 20 for employee training

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., Nov. 13 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Silverchair Learning Systems (SLS), the leader in senior care employee education, has recently updated and expanded its course offerings. As part of its normal course of business, SLS updates its courses on a regular basis.

"As company policy, we constantly update and develop courses for the growing senior care market," said Mike Benzian, President of Silverchair Learning Systems. "We are proud of our commitment to the frequent updates that regulatory changes require. We know our clients are excited to get access to the content we produce and are excited with the breadth of courses we offer."

Silverchair employs a regular schedule for course updating and development that ensures that senior care employees are getting the most up-to-date information on policies, regulations, and care giving techniques. Courses are updated as necessary (for example, if regulations change), and each course undergoes a thorough review every two years. This review process not only assesses content, it reviews graphics as well, ensuring that the content is conveyed in an easy-to-understand, engaging manner. Silverchair customers receive these updated courses free with their eLearning system.

For new content, Silverchair uses customer feedback and changing regulations to guide the development of new material -- customers may want more information on a subject already covered, or request a course on an area in which they feel they need more training. Many of the new courses are written to round out our Assisted Living, Long Term Care and Home Health core curricula.

"The world of employee education is constantly evolving to include more customized, targeted learning," said Nancy Wicklin, RN, MS, Silverchair Learning Systems' Editorial Director. "Silverchair Learning Systems is ready to meet these new demands
