Siker 3T MRI Now Open on Portland’s West Side
Date:7/18/2013

Portland, Oregon (PRWEB) July 18, 2013

• 3T MRI provides much higher resolution image quality than 1.5 or Open MRI

  • Siker offers 3T MRI technology at a lower price than any hospital system.
  • All studies interpreted by subspecialty fellowship-trained radiologists.

Siker Medical Imaging and Intervention announced today that a brand new Siker Imaging 3T MRI facility has opened on the west side of Portland, Oregon at 9775 SW Wilshire Street, conveniently located at the junction of Highway 26 and Highway 217 near St. Vincent’s Hospital. Their new website is now live at http://www.SikerImaging.com.

Siker Imaging is a locally-owned Private Imaging Center specializing in high-end subspecialty MRI, including Advanced Neuro, Sports and Ortho, Women’s Imaging and Intervention, Spine and Chiropractic Imaging and Pain Intervention. Siker Imaging provides the most advanced 3T MRI studies and expert interpretation at a cost far below any hospital system and the first “quality guarantee” in diagnostic imaging.

"With the incredible advances made in MRI technology today, every study should be of excellent quality,” said Sean Callaghan, Director of Operations at Siker “There is no excuse for utilizing old technology or for ‘re-imaging’ (and re-charging) patients due to poor study quality.”

3T MRI is the gold standard for diagnostic MRI imaging. Older 1.5T and "Open" architecture scanners do not provide the resolution and study quality that new high-resolution 3T machines do. If a study is not being performed on a 3T MRI scanner, the patient is not getting the best image possible. In many cases, 1.5T and Open MRIs may miss significant diagnostic pathology altogether.

In a true example of "Pay for Performance”, Siker Imaging provides the best technology, expert interpretation and the lowest possible cost with a quality guarantee for every patient study.

"We use only the most advanced 3T MRI equipment and only expert subspecialty fellowship trained radiologists to interpret each scan,” says Dr. David A. Siker, owner and Medical Director at Siker Medical Imaging and Intervention.

This is the second Portland based facility for Siker Imaging with cutting edge 3Tesla Siemens MRI equipment. Their east side 3T facility is located near the Rose Quarter at 1800 NE 2nd Avenue. The new Siker Imaging West 3T facility utilizes the same cutting edge technology and provides the same excellent quality and service that specialists and patients throughout Portland demand.
