Shop 'n Save Pharmacy Helps Vitalize Members of Wellness-based Health Insurance Plan
Date:9/25/2007

ST. LOUIS, Sept. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Shop 'n Save Pharmacy, a leading network of pharmacies providing patient care services in the St. Louis area, has entered into an agreement with Destiny Health, a Chicago-based provider of wellness-based health insurance, to provide a wellness service, Vitality Check(TM), to members of The Destiny Health Empowerment Plan(TM).

Fully integrated with the insurance portion of The Destiny Health Empowerment Plan, Vitality is a wellness program that encourages members with tangible rewards. Members can redeem their Vitality Bucks for Vitality Rewards(R) that include airline miles, vacation packages, name brand merchandise, iTunes and more.

A Vitality Check is a health assessment that members are encouraged to partake in to learn more about their current health conditions. For example, during a Vitality Check, Shop 'n Save pharmacists will test member's blood glucose, blood pressure and cholesterol levels, as well as obtain height and weight measurements to calculate Body Mass Index (BMI). These results will be sent directly to Destiny Health, and members will be awarded Vitality Bucks(TM) for participating in the Vitality Check and for the test results as well, depending on the outcome. The closer they are to being in the healthy range, the more Vitality Bucks received.

Destiny Health members will only pay $40 for a Vitality Check at participating Shop 'n Save pharmacy locations. Members will have their blood tested and their results will be mailed to them within 7-10 business days. The pharmacist will follow-up with the member to discuss the results and provide appropriate recommendations.

"Shop 'n Save is happy to be a part of Destiny Health's dedication to their members' health," says Chris Dimos, President, pharmacy operations for SUPERVALU. "As a network of pharmacies, many people think we only provide for our customers who are in need of care when they're sick, but in fact, like Destiny Health, we ar
