Sharon Callahan Joins Diversified Agency Services Unit of Omnicom Group

NEW YORK, Sept. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- The Diversified Agency Services (DAS) unit of Omnicom Group has named Sharon Callahan to the position of Executive Vice President and Director of DAS Healthcare.

In this position Sharon will direct the client-centric and brand-centric teams within the holding company's healthcare practice, a worldwide multidisciplinary resource of specialist agencies that support the strategic communications needs of the world's leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device brands. DAS Healthcare President Rob Dhoble said, "Sharon's experience in developing and engaging innovative approaches for teamwork between agencies in the healthcare industry is well recognized. Sharon Callahan was most recently Chief Digital Strategist of Grey Healthcare Group and President of Summit Grey, a business she co-founded in 2001. Sharon's healthcare industry experience spans more than 20 years and includes leadership positions in the fields of medical education, publishing, clinical programs and advertising. As a true pioneer, Sharon was among the first to help pharmaceutical companies deliver educational programming to physicians via the internet.
