Sentillion's New Point-and-Click Animated Wizard Provides Hospitals With New Options for Developing Application Interfaces Quickly and Cost Effectively

CHICAGO, April 6 /PRNewswire/ -- HIMSS09 Conference & Exhibition -- Sentillion, whose identity and access management (IAM) solutions are the most widely implemented in healthcare, today announced the availability of the Vergence Wizard, the company's next generation tool for generating application interfaces to enable single sign-on and context management for clinical and business applications. The release of the Vergence Wizard gives healthcare organizations the power to assume total ownership and control of how single sign-on and context management is deployed and maintained hospital-wide through an extremely practical and cost effective "Do It Yourself" approach.

For over a decade Sentillion has addressed head-on the ever present challenge faced by healthcare organizations of how to quickly integrate clinical applications and add enhancements to clinical workflows. Through its pioneering Bridges technology, Sentillion offers flexible, extensible and uniform mechanisms for interfacing to applications in order to achieve single sign-on, context management or user provisioning. Bridges monitor and control the user interface of targeted applications as though they were the end users of those applications.

Originally Bridges were written by Sentillion as programs, requiring a technical skill set. Subsequently, Sentillion made it possible for customers to also write Bridges by employing an easier to use scripting language. More recently, Vergence BridgeBuilder provided a point-and-click tool for generating Bridges, but some additional scripting was generally required. The Vergence Wizard changes all of this.
