Ms. Heismeyer joined Selective in 1986 in the information technology area and has held various positions in the corporate marketing, market research and communication departments. Prior to that, she was a manager with American Broadcasting Companies (ABC) in New York. Ms. Heismeyer holds a B.A. in communications and English from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ and has earned the Associate in Insurance Services (AIS), Associate in Automation Management (AAM) and Certified Professional Insurance Woman (CPIW) designations. One of the founding members of the Insurance Professionals of Sussex County, Ms. Heismeyer is also a member of the Insurance Public Relations Council, the International Association of Business Communicators, the Public Relations Society of America, the Society of Insurance Research and the Society of Competitive Intelligence.

Alison J. Mahan (Basking Ridge, NJ), to vice president of business operations. Previously she served as assistant vice president and manager of personal lines operations. Ms. Mahan joined Selective in February 2006. Prior to that, she was director of customer care at Cover-All Technologies, Inc. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Delaware in Newark, DE and holds the Associate in Automation Management (AAM) designation.

Bruce B. Monahan (Newton, NJ), to vice president of internal audit. Mr. Monahan joined Selective in November 2007. Prior to that, he was assistant vice president at Liberty Mutual Group. Mr. Monahan holds a B.S. degree from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT, an MBA from the University of Hartford in West Hartford, CT, and an Advanced Professional Certificate in Information Technology from New York University.
