Secure eHealth Partner Receives Patent and Notice of Patent Allowance that is Key to Enriched Data Portability in Healthcare

LEXINGTON, Ky., Aug. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- VirtualHealth Technologies, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: VHGI) announced that a technology partner of its subsidiary, Secure eHealth, LLC, recently received a patent as well as a notice of patent allowance for architecture, methodology and apparatus of portable information agents. The patents issued to Envoii Holding are for the architecture, methodology and apparatus for a "portable information agent" which when deployed allows a user to interact with web applications by moving these enhanced intelligent agents between the desktop and the web browser. In addition to the enhanced security aspect of this now patented technology, the simplicity of the rich user interface can incorporate advanced interactive graphics and communications back to a server. Portions of this technology are licensed to and integrated into Secure eHealth's STN (System Tray Notifier) technology.

According to Robert Tapales, VHGI Executive Vice President, "We are really excited about the news that Secure eHealth's technology partner Envoii has received two of its patents for data portability methodology." Tapales continues, "Having used these applications myself I can see clearly how the technology has wide applications in healthcare." The expectation is that this will simplify users' interaction with web applications, like Electronic Health Records and Practice Management Tools. This technology will be included in the integration plans for several of the new applications to be released later this year in the VirtualHealth family of companies, including Medical Office Software's new Electronic Health Records solution. It is also part of Secure eHealth's STN (System Tray Notifier) interface announced in late 2008.

Secure eHealth, is a provider of leading edge security and messaging solutions for healthcare. It currently markets several components for secure messaging and data delivery to Medical Office Software, another VHGI subsidiary, and to Private Access, Inc., a developer of web-based applications that solve the significant privacy hurdles in the medical community involving patient empowered access to sensitive personal information.
