Secure EDI Integrates VeriFone IPCharge in Real Time Patient Payment and Claims Processing Solutions Suite

SAN JOSE, Calif., Feb. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- VeriFone Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: PAY) today announced that its IPCharge Web-based payment gateway has been integrated with Secure EDI's state-of-the-art platform to consolidate patient payments with the healthcare claims process.

Secure EDI is a recognized market leader as a value-added HIPAA transactions intermediary for medical, dental and institutional providers. The company also creates seamless electronic interfaces and support services for both payers and providers. IPCharge provides consolidated payment processing, settlement and reporting capabilities that enable Secure EDI to efficiently integrate patient payments with the claims reconciliation process at the healthcare practice level.
