Seattle’s Best Coffee Gets Modular
Date:5/24/2013

DeSoto, Texas (PRWEB) May 24, 2013

Ten Seattle’s Best Coffee locations opened this week in the Dallas area. The stores were fabricated and installed over the last 3 months by a DeSoto, Texas modular building company, Palomar Modular Buildings.

“The custom specifications for these projects came from the Seattle’s Best Coffee group. They made a conscious decision to utilize the modular building approach because modular construction would provide the company with the build quality they wanted, and their plan for a coordinated launch of all ten stores within a three month window would be impractical using site-built construction,” commented John Martin, president at Palomar Modular Buildings. “Palomar’s accelerated construction method allowed us to build and complete the production of these 10 buildings in less than 30 days while the job sites were being prepared. The completed modular coffee shops were transported to the prepared job sites for quick installation.”

Dallas/Fort Worth – one of the fastest growing and most populous markets in the country – was selected as the first market for the multi-store expansion of Seattle’s Best Coffee drive-thru following the exciting launch of the concept in Seattle last fall.

“Our new drive-thrus are designed to create a different kind of coffee culture – one that combines the quality and passion of a coffeehouse with speed, convenience and value,” said Frank Sica, vice president and general manager for Seattle’s Best Coffee. “This concept is for coffee drinkers who are purchasing coffee outside of cafes at places such as convenience stores, gas stations and fast food restaurants. This is our opportunity to give time-pressed coffee drinkers a better cup of coffee and a better breakfast.”
