Date:5/27/2009

Daniel Johnson recognized by business leaders for vision, determination and drive to address today's health care challenges

MINNEAPOLIS, May 27 /PRNewswire/ -- SearchAmerica, a part of Experian and a leader in financial clearing services for health care, today announced that its president, Daniel Johnson, has been named as a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year(R) Award in Minnesota and the Dakotas.

"I am honored to be recognized by our area's business leaders for creating and building a company that is growing, but more importantly, it changes lives," said Daniel Johnson, president of SearchAmerica, a part of Experian. "I founded SearchAmerica after discovering that at a typical hospital only 60 percent of patients who qualify for financial assistance are identified and enrolled. Learning this, I was determined to develop technology services so hospitals could enroll 100 percent of qualified patients. Since 2001, SearchAmerica has helped more than 5 million low-income patients get enrolled in financial assistance programs."

The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards program celebrates its 23rd anniversary this year. Awards are given to entrepreneurs who demonstrate extraordinary success in the areas of innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their business and communities.

Award winners will be announced at a gala event on Thursday, June 11, 2009, at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee, Wis.
