Date:7/24/2014

Omaha, NE and Ft. Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) July 24, 2014

Seacoast Medical has signed an agreement to provide a wide range of pharmaceutical products to Blackmaple Group Purchasing Solutions(BMG) members nationwide. Under the agreement, BMG member practices can benefit from preferential pricing through Seacoast’s direct-to-market model.

“Blackmaple GroupPurchasing Solutions is growing rapidly, building on a simple, straightforward value proposition,” said Marc Cooper, Partner. “Our approach is to offer deep savings on items our members use every day, and to provide transparent and consistent pricing and in-depth data reporting to our members. With its focus on customer service and data management, Seacoast is the ideal partner to provide pharmaceutical products to our members nationwide.”

Based in Omaha, NE, Seacoast Medical supplies over 25,000 physician offices nationwide. The company’s business model began by providing a pharmaceutical inventory management system to assist physician offices to manage their pharmaceutical inventory costs. In 1996, the company implemented a call center to provide nationwide customer service, and in 2002, the company added medical/surgical supplies to their product line to better service the needs of their customers.

“Seacoast’s model is an intuitive strategic fit with BMG’s focus on savings, transparency and data,” said David MacFarlane, CEO of Seacoast Medical. “We are committed to offering top-notch customer service and availability to our clients, and we are proud to ship more than 98% of orders the day they are received. We also have an advanced ordering, inventory and reporting system, which is a great reflection of BMG’s focus on providing smart and useful data to its members. We’re excited to be growing our businesses together.”

A Fort Lauderdale company, the Blackmaple Group’s roots are in c-suite consulting, primarily to health care provider organizations.
