'Every Baby has a Story' campaign uses online scrapbooking service to help

families share experiences and encourage donations

MIAMI, Oct. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Scrapblog, Inc., the first web-based service for creating and sharing multimedia scrapbooks, has announced that it is partnering with the March of Dimes, a national not-for-profit health agency dedicated to improving the health of babies, to launch the 'Every Baby Has a Story' campaign.

'Every Baby Has a Story' is a national grassroots project that invites moms and dads to tell their most memorable, relevant, inspiring or humorous baby stories through an online scrapbook powered by Scrapblog at http://www.marchofdimes.com/everybaby. Participants can easily create compilations of images, videos, audio and captions to tell a baby's story. Scrapbooks can then be shared with family and friends by email or on social networking sites. Those who receive an online scrapbook also can donate to the March of Dimes, which works to give every baby a healthy start in life.

"There is already a large online conversation taking place among families and friends sharing the stories of their newborns," said Doug Staples, senior vice president of Strategic Marketing and Communications for the March of Dimes. "A partnership with Scrapblog for this campaign allows the March of Dimes to further tap into this lively community, giving people the tools to enhance their stories and motivate loved ones to donate. Scrapblog is extremely easy to use, and as opposed to just sharing an online photo album, being able to incorporate a truly personal touch inspires people to dedicate time to create something that inspires others. It also provides a much more interactive experience for families and friends living far away."
