Scott T. Williams Elected to the RetireSafe Board of Directors

RESTON, Va., Nov. 12 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today the nonprofit grassroots advocacy group RetireSafe, representing 400,000 older Americans, announced the election of Scott T. Williams to its Board of Directors. Williams, the Vice President of Men's Health Network, was elected by the unanimous vote of the sitting RetireSafe Board.

"Scott Williams will be a valuable asset to the RetireSafe Board," said RetireSafe President Michelle Plasari. "He is widely known and well-respected in DC for his dedication to men's health care and his never- failing enthusiasm for important efforts to help improve the quality of health care in America," she said. "He, like RetireSafe, is a strong advocate for the continued research and development needed to produce the miracle cures and therapies of the future," she added.

Williams has been a featured expert in the New York Times, CNN, MSNBC, the Washington Post, the Baltimore Times, the Chicago Tribune, the St. Petersburg Times, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, and National Public Radio.

He is also a contributing author to the American Journal of Men's Health, and serves as the Membership Chair for the American Public Health Association's Community Health Planning and Policy Development Section, and President of the Maryland Men's Health Network.
