Scienceroll.com on EchoJournal, an Echocardiography video sharing community
Date:4/17/2009

DEBRECEN, Hungary, April 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Bertalan Mesko, medical blogger and health 2.0 consultant shared a promising medical project with his readers. EchoJournal, a video site designed to present echocardiology videos for discussion and storage, was launched by the editorial team of one of the most famous medical blogs, Medgadget.com. It combines many of the features familiar to users of other video sharing sites, including easy uploading, comments and discussions, and the ability to create communities for academic departments, professional groups or schools.

The international medical community needs more similar initiatives to build a reliable medical knowledge base.
