FRANKFURT, Germany, November 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Schlafender Hase GmbH today released the newest version of the Text Verification Tool, Release 4.0.

The Text Verification Tool is a patent-protected Windows program that compares manuscript text with text in print layout ("artwork") on the data level - independent from the layout. Discrepancies are displayed in color. They may be annotated, saved in PDF format and forwarded to the typesetter for corrections.

The program thus ensures that only approved text goes into print - without errors or discrepancies from the original.

The Text Verification Tool helps the pharmaceutical industry worldwide effectively avoid print errors on medical packages and in patient information.

Data formats

The TVT supports, DOC, PDF, RTF, TXT and the XML standards (PIM and SPL) of emea and FDA.

Asian languages

Apart from the languages already supported, the Korean, Japanese and Chinese are also supported in the new version.
