Leader in Nutritional Supplements Offers Tips on Expressing Gratitude and Staying Active

SALT LAKE CITY, Nov. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Schiff(R) Nutrition International, one of the most trusted and respected brands in the nutritional supplement industry for more than 70 years, has declared the month of November to be "Give Thanks for Grandparents Month." The company aims to elevate widespread appreciation for America's mature adults, who are changing the stereotypical idea of aging.

"Today's grandparents feel they're able to do anything they enjoyed when they were younger," said Dr. Luke Bucci, Vice President of Research, Schiff(R) Nutrition International. "They are leading full and active lives, volunteering in local communities, taking care of their families and are on the go. To this end, Schiff(R) encourages everyone to extend a heartfelt thanks to their grandparents this Thanksgiving."

In the spirit of "Give Thanks for Grandparents Month," Schiff(R) Nutrition offers these simple tips for expressing your appreciation.

-- Take a moment. Drop your grandparents a line or give them a call to let

them know you care and are thinking of them, especially if you are

unable to spend Thanksgiving together.

-- Take a walk. Accompany your grandparents on their favorite physical

activities, be it taking a walk, playing a round of golf or practicing

yoga.

-- Take action. Check in on what your grandparents are doing to maintain

their joint mobility. It's never too early for them to begin a

regimen of joint health supplements in order to help them maintain the

level of activity they currently enjoy. Give them the affordable gift

of Move Free(R) Advanced, a joint health supplement that starts

comforting sore joints in less than 7 days, and is clinically tested.(1)
