Schembri Insurance Group Initiates Charity Campaign in Collaboration with Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America to Find Cures and Improve Quality of Life for Thousands
Date:12/11/2015

With a new community involvement program serving the greater Dearborn, MI area, Schembri Insurance Group has teamed up with the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America in support of its efforts to provide help and hope for the hundreds of thousands of people afflicted with these diseases. To support this wonderful organization and the patients they serve, donations may now be made at https://www.crowdrise.com/ccf-artvan2015/fundraiser/joelschembri.

The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) is a nonprofit, volunteer-driven organization founded in 1967. For over 40 years they have been dedicated to finding cures for Crohn’s Disease and ulcerative colitis, and are devoted to improving the quality of life for the many thousands of children and adults living with these diseases. CCFA remains at the forefront of research, funding cutting-edge studies at medical institutions and underdeveloped areas of research.

Their educational workshops and programs, as well as their scientific journal, enable medical professionals to keep pace with this rapidly growing field. CCFA serves more than 300,000 patients every year through their 40 chapters, as well as through their national educational and support programs. They receive no government funding and are in constant need of volunteers and ongoing fundraising.

“We are very excited to work with this wonderful organization,” said Joel Schembri, owner of Schembri Insurance Group. “CCF gives help and hope to thousands of people living with the daily challenges of these conditions. We truly believe in neighbors helping neighbors, so it’s a great fit for our new community enrichment program.”

The agency will promote the current campaign over the course of the next 30-60 days, through its social media channels, email communications and monthly electronic and print magazine, which is delivered to thousands of households in the greater Dearborn area. Our Hometown magazine reserves a full page to showcase the campaign for the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America, and features all the details of the cause. The electronic Flipbook version of the current issue may be accessed here: http://www.schembriinsurancegroup.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_39.

Readers who would like to join Schembri Insurance Group in supporting the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America, and the hundreds of thousands who depend on the vital work they do, may visit https://www.crowdrise.com/ccf-artvan2015/fundraiser/joelschembri and are encouraged to share the page with their own network of friends, family, neighbors and coworkers. Contributors may be acknowledged for their donations through the agency’s monthly magazine. The agency itself will donate $10 to CCF for every referral they receive for an insurance quote, with no purchase necessary.

Schembri Insurance Group is devoted to ensuring the betterment of their community. The agency just recently launched the master charity program of which the current campaign is part. “We are fully committed to assisting those in need in our community. Every 60-90 days we’ll be selecting a new individual, family or group to receive our support,” pledged Joel Schembri.
