Schembri Insurance Group Initiates Charity Campaign in Collaboration with Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America to Find Cures and Improve Quality of Life for Thousands

With a new community involvement program serving the greater Dearborn, MI area, Schembri Insurance Group has teamed up with the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America in support of its efforts to provide help and hope for the hundreds of thousands of people afflicted with these diseases. The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) is a nonprofit, volunteer-driven organization founded in 1967. For over 40 years they have been dedicated to finding cures for Crohn’s Disease and ulcerative colitis, and are devoted to improving the quality of life for the many thousands of children and adults living with these diseases. CCFA remains at the forefront of research, funding cutting-edge studies at medical institutions and underdeveloped areas of research.

Their educational workshops and programs, as well as their scientific journal, enable medical professionals to keep pace with this rapidly growing field. CCFA serves more than 300,000 patients every year through their 40 chapters, as well as through their national educational and support programs. They receive no government funding and are in constant need of volunteers and ongoing fundraising.
