Wounded service members, celebrities, sports legends and more will enjoy four days of golf and fun as part of the 4th Annual Scarlet & Gold Invitational. The Scarlet & Gold Invitational begins on Sunday, September 15 with a Media Day at the River Landing Country Club in Wallace, NC. Media will have the opportunity to meet with multiple celebrities, sports legends, and more.

The event is sure to be one of both tribute to our nation’s military heroes, and entertainment with celebrities and former athletes from the NBA, NFL and MLB. Proceeds from the weekend will benefit Hope For The Warriors® (http://www.hopeforthewarriors.org), a national nonprofit organization that assists post-9/11 service members, their families, and families of the fallen who have sustained physical and psychological wounds in the line of duty.

Six-person teams will be created for the event. Each team will have four players, plus one celebrity and one wounded service member. This event is made possible by support of sponsors Food Lion, River Landing and 1-800-PACK-RAT.
