Satellite Healthcare's Sheila Doss Elected Western Chapters Coordinator-Elect of the American Nephrology Nurses' Association

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Feb. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Sheila Doss, BSN, RN, CNN, CCRA of San Jose, California, has been re-elected Western Chapters Coordinator-Elect (CCE) of the American Nephrology Nurses' Association (ANNA) for 2010-11.

Doss, Nursing Director of Research of Satellite Healthcare will assume her position during ANNA's 41st National Symposium in San Antonio, TX, May 2-5, 2010.

As Western CCE, Doss will coordinate and supervise regional chapter activities, report to the regional vice president and serve as a member on appropriate committees. In March 2011, Doss will assume the role of Western Chapters Coordinator (CC).

Doss has been an active member of ANNA at the local, regional and national levels. She previously was Western CCE and CC from 2008-10. During that time, she worked closely on recruitment and retention with her local chapters. Doss is involved in advocacy with ANNA, and has served as Western Region Health Policy Advisor (2002-04) and chair of ANNA's Health Policy Committee since 2004.
