Satellite Healthcare Researchers to Present at 29th Annual Dialysis Conference

Satellite's Leading Kidney Disease Researchers to Speak on Treatment Modalities

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., March 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Satellite Healthcare, Inc., one of the nation's first and largest providers of kidney dialysis services and a major sponsor of nephrology research, today announced that several of its internationally respected chief researchers will present at the 29th Annual Dialysis Conference in Houston, Texas March 8-10. In addition to the presentations, Satellite Dialysis and WellBound will be exhibitors in the Satellite Healthcare booth numbers 44 and 45 at the conference.

Satellite's presenters will make formal and oral presentations on a variety of subjects like patient survival rates, cardiovascular status and patient perspectives among Chronic Kidney Disease patients.

Satellite Healthcare speakers include:

  • John Moran, MB, BS, Senior Vice President of Clinical Affairs for Satellite Healthcare and WellBound. Dr. Moran is a kidney disease expert with more than 30 years of academic research and clinical trial experience. He will talk about the WellBound experience of patient survival on peritoneal dialysis and the penetration of PD in the country.
  • Brigitte Schiller, MD, Vice President for Scientific Affairs for Satellite Healthcare and Clinical Director for Satellite Laboratory Services. Dr. Schiller leads internal and contract research as well as providing clinical leadership for Satellite Laboratory Services. She will speak on monitoring cardiovascular status in patients of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD).
  • Sheila Doss, RN, CNN, Nursing Director of Research for Satellite Healthcare. Ms. Doss will make an oral presentation on patient perspective on frequent in-center dialysis.
