Satellite Dialysis Opens New Center in San Leandro, CA

SAN LEANDRO, Calif., Nov. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Satellite Healthcare, one of the nation's first and leading providers of kidney dialysis services and a major sponsor of nephrology research, today announced the opening of a new Satellite Dialysis center in San Leandro, California. The new center adds to Satellite Healthcare's significant and expanding dialysis services throughout California. The center is equipped with 24 dialysis stations to assist patients with their long-term clinical needs.

"Satellite Dialysis is an in-center dialysis program that is focused on dedicated and personalized care for those who have Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)," said Rosemary Fox, Vice President and COO of Dialysis Services for Satellite Healthcare. "Our continued growth in California adds to our expanding presence nationwide, and allows Satellite Dialysis to reach and assist more patients. We're very excited to be opening this new East Bay center in San Leandro, CA."

Satellite Dialysis of San Leandro will be under the medical directorship of Dr. Haseeb Al-Mufti of Renal Associates. The center is located on the corner of Davis and Alvarado Street at 801 Davis Street, San Leandro, CA 94577. The center is managed by professional nurses, dietitians, social workers and technicians that are trained for CKD patient care.
